Christopher Brant, age 68 years, a prominent resident of Veedersburg died at his home there Monday evening of cancer. Mr. Brant was born near Hillsboro and for many years was a farmer there. Besides a widow he leaves a son, Lawrence Brant of Greencastle; two daughters, three sisters and one brother.  Funeral services will be held at Waynetown Thursday morning at 11 o’clock with interment in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. – kbz
